The documentary ‘Creative Economy’ on the German channel DW Español highlights the innovative responses of young Galapagueños to the lack of tourism due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One of these responses was to get involved in citizen science as part of the Barcode Galapagos project at the University of San Francisco de Quito, Exeter University and the Galapagos Science Center.
